Fun Holiday – Take A Hike Day
The surroundings of Pereira are perfect for very different hikes, organised or to do by yourself. You can do some walking around the house to discover the daily life around Pereira or do some serious walking in the Serra da Estrela, Serra do Açor, Serra da Lousã ou Caramulo.
The Serras are remote areas that can be discovered on foot by following old stone paths used by the villagers. You discover beautiful villages often made of xisto, you meander along little streams and when climbing you have magnificent views. A day of hiking is fun, healthy and gives energy.
We can organize your walk. We also provide transport from our house to the start of the walk or from the end to our house when you do the Great Road along the river Alva (GR51) or the great road of the river Mondego (GR48).
